Meet our Member: Scott Finberg
I grew up in Maplewood, MN and graduated from North Saint
Paul High School in 1983. After high school I attended
Lakewood Community College, in White Bear Lake, MN enrolling
in the Law Enforcement program, as well as furthering my
baseball career. I decided to explore a different career path and
went into Graphic Arts/Printing. I worked for a few small printing
companies in the Twin Cities earlier in my career and am now
currently working for Taylor Corporation as a Category Manager
supporting all areas of Commercial Print.
At the same time, I traveled around the country playing slow pitch softball, playing in many state, regional and national tournaments over the years. I took that passion for sports into the community of Stillwater, where we lived for 30 years and volunteered with the Stillwater baseball program and St. Croix Valley association. I was an active volunteer for over 25 years in all levels, from coaching, tournament coordinator for 5 years, Vice President and President of the
association.
In my spare time, my wife Susan, of 33 years, and I raised three wonderful children. Samantha, Doctor of Chiropractic, Scotty currently a Product Specialist at Taylor Corp and Skyler, Recreation Program Specialist with the City of Woodbury. We enjoyed supporting them in all of their school and extracurricular activities, including High school Tennis, Gymnastics, Synchornized Swimming, Hockey, and Baseball. We traveled all over the country to watch our son play 5 years of college baseball for University of Minnesota Crookston. We moved up to Chisago City in May of 2023 to enjoy the community and lake life.
I joined the Rotary due to the mission to support the local community, as well as, to get to know others in
the community.
