Chisago Lakes Rotary getting in the holiday spirit
Chisago County Press December 11, 2017
Saturday, Dec. 2 the Chisago Lakes Rotary in cooperation with the Chisago City Fire Dept., and Chisago Lakes National Honor Society spent four hours traveling the streets of Chisago City collecting toys for Anonymous Santa and food for Family Pathways food shelf. The effort collected over 250 toys, 779 pounds of food and $450 cash to help our community. The event took a little longer this year partly because of the tremendous generosity of our community, but mostly because of the number of kids (both young and old) who needed to sit on Santa’s lap, along with the length of their lists.
